Dytiatin Polish Thermopylae
Another anniversary of the Battle of Dytiatyn is approaching soon – September 16 will mark 101 years since this event.
The Brother Sun Foundation takes care of the War Cemetery in Dytiatyn and organizes celebrations commemorating this event. It is extremely important for us that the memory of these important deeds for Poland is still alive. This year, the aforementioned celebrations will take place on September 18 in Dytiatyn with the participation of representatives of both countries. This coincides with the date of issue of the commemorative coin from the series "Polish Thermopylae - Dytiatyn" implemented by the NBP. The issue will take place from September 8, 2021.
